Safari Fitness, Dance Party, Niola Cancer Care Foundation

There are a million ways to die… we try to make sure cancer shouldn’t be one of them. So on the first of May we joined the Safari Fitness team at the 2018 edition of the Dance Party which held at The Grange school, Ikeja, Lagos State.

This edition of the Dance Party brought together several groups and organizations who believe practicing exercise is a must for healthy and wholesome existence. Organised by the founders of Safari Fitness, Akin Maja and Trisha Maja, there was a lot of dance exercise and prize winning. A few celebrity personalities were present especially Maje Ayida who took part in a few of the dance routines. Support came from several media houses, press and Niola Foundation was on hand to tell all how regular exercise is a requirement to keep colorectal cancer and cancer in general at bay. Colorectal cancer is preventable and a few persons took their Fecal Occult Blood Tests. It was a fun, festive and sweaty occasion that will be remembered for a long time. There was an opportunity to network, share experiences and forge relationships that will support the fight against cancer. Our dear volunteers were definitely in attendance interacting with others, sharing brochures and awareness messages. Our worthy ambassadors Lilian Amah-Aluko and Keppy Ekpeyong Bassey were on hand to lend their star support to Niola Foundation yet again.

Our events page has more sights from the Dance Party. Our social media channels also have several more pictures of the party, visit our events page and share. The fight against colorectal cancer can be won in a fun, informative and aggressive way and Niola Foundation will not be left behind in this fight. You can join this fight by becoming a member of our volunteer team today, your contributions and presence will be warmly welcome.

In the coming months Niola Foundation and Safari Fitness are cooking something up already in the city of Lagos…and it will also involve several Nollywood stars. Follow us on social media to keep updated.
